Antonio Brown has backed Donald Trump ahead of this year's Presidential election, with the former NFL star even offering to organize the inauguration ceremony.

Brown also called on the 77-year-old billionaire to help free rapper Young Thug,  who is currently on trial on racketeering charges, along with other members of his rap group YSL.

America will this November choose between Trump and incumbent Joe Biden in what promises to be one of the most polarizing and hotly-contested elections of all time.

Brown played as a wide receiver in the NFL for more than a decade, helping the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the Super Bowl in 2021 and making it to the Pro Bowl on seven occasions.

Even in retirement, the 35-year-old has rarely been out of the headlines due to financial issues and a string of controversial outbursts on social media which has seen him taunt the likes of Caitlin Clark and Tom Brady.

Now 'AB' has offered his endorsement to former President Trump and even vowed to help him celebrate a second term.

'I'll endorse Trump,' Brown told Outkick. 'I never met him. I have admiration for his business moves and I study his dad, Fred Trump.

'But I think Donald Trump is a good businessman, he comes from a good family and he's been a good president.

He added: 'You know he likes black people running campaigns, preferably football players. So Donald Trump, you heard it right here from the mouth of AB man: inauguration, send me my bag or whatever...'

Brown also praised Trump for the 'great things' he had done 'for a lot of my brothers in the music industry.'

Brown cited rap stars Lil Wayne and Kodak, who were - respectively - pardoned and  had a sentence commuted by Trump on his last full day as President in 2021.

'I'm hoping he can do some of those things Young Thug,' Brown added. So Trump, man, if you're watching this, we need to free Young Thug. If you could help out.'
